Alex had his 2 month check-up today...

He got a clean bill of health but didn't get 1 vax as they were out of it. She said the Hib vaccine is in short supply nationwide but to keep calling to see if they get it in before we leave for the states or to try to get it when we're there. All this finger-wagging at parents for not wanting to get vaccines due to the chance of Autism and the scoldings because more kids are suffering from childhood diseases that had been all but erradicated due to the nearly 100% parental adherence to vaccine schedules until the Autism-Vaccine link was suggested, and then they run out of the stupid things anyway. Grr.

Anyway, rant aside, Alex came in at 10lbs. 12 oz (25-50%), 23 1/2" (75%), and 38cm head circumference (25%). He's almost a pound lighter than Bren was at this time and almost an inch taller. Guess Bren will maybe only have a few years of being the "bigger" brother as Alex just might surpass him in height so Bren will have to watch out he doesn't get bullied by his bigger li'l bro. Tee hee.

Vin made it back safely from his 2 wk. Aircraft Mishap Investigation class in NM. He and Alex are getting their "snooze" on, him from jetlag, Alex from vaccine truama.

Bren and I are having fun playing together. He's not happy that Mommy is on the computer right now, but we're watching Friday's Jay Leno and he's apparently a fan of Dolly Parton because he's watching her intently and stomping his feet. I'll have to use that one against him when he's a moody teenager and only into heavy metal.
