Why am I dressed like a pumpkin and can we get this over with?

Bren eating his only piece of "parent-approved" treat--Teddy Grahams. Mom and Dad are "helping" him with all the 'bad-for-him' candy like M&M's, Snickers, Mars, etc.

Bren did a pretty good job once he realized he got to keep what people were giving him and didn't have to take it out of his bucket and give it back. We had him sign "Thanks" at every house and he got the hang of that and started saying "This" which does mean "this" normally but has become also how he says "thanks" along with making the sign for it.

Vin's 'cover' has gone AWOL in a sporadic cleaning frenzy by his Mom in her attempts to clean the house for the after-Baptism party so he had to wear his AF baseball cap. We're still on the hunt for the elusive blue hat. He needs to find it by Nov. 6th as he'll be giving a speech to some VFW people and needs to be in full blues. He's realizing the pitfalls of being the local VFW Commandant's son and being home. So much for vacation... ;) Truthfully, I know he's enjoying "hanging with the guys" and being able to pal around with his dad. Every boys' dad is his hero and for Vin and his brothers, it's no different.
