Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween to one and all! Hope your day was fun and you're not too sick on all the candy!

We started off the day going to our church at Crossroads in Vacaville, CA. We went to the 2nd service and then headed home to give the boys a nap and I needed to make 2 dozen cupcakes for the cupcake walk later at Crossroads for the Fall-A-Palooza. What a fun thing that is at our church. The kids get to play games for candy, there are go-carts, and they even converted the sanctuary this year into a Bouncy House playground! Woozers!
3 flight suits, all in a row.
Just like last year, the sun made picture-taking a bit difficult.
Daddy tried to shade their eyes while I took pics.
They put their best "cute" forward despite their burning retinas.
3 Lau "pilots" all in a row.
My guys!
Pumpkin bean bag toss game at Crossroads.
Ring toss.
Cutest little Punkin'
Bren didn't want to go on the go-carts, but Daddy talked to him about trying things first and so he agreed to try it but you can see he's still hesitant.
Safety 1st!
Ready to go.
And he's off!
Little Brennan, BIG go-cart!
Alex warming up his smile.
Alex took a look at Bren and decided he'd put his best cheesy grin forward for the pics.
Goofballs.
Are we done? Can we go trick-or-treating yet?
We went trick-or-treating and this year was Alex's 1st time and he did great. He caught on really quickly thanks to the Squadron trick-or-treating on Friday and he didn't try to give any of his candy back today. In fact, I had to tell him more than once to take 1 piece as he grabbed a handful a couple of times and I had to sheepishly give the people back their candy. Never knew how much a 2 yr. old could grab but when it's candy, all bets are off!
We hit about 10 houses and I decided that was enough candy to last them till next year as many of our neighbors were super generous and gave them handfuls anyway. Plus all the candy they got at church just before and on Friday. We have Snickers bars coming out our wazoos!
They had a lot of fun at home helping Daddy hand out candy too and even said "trick-or-treat" TO the trick-or-treaters. So cute!
Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!
